LIVERPOOL” and engraved with sunbursts around the pin apertures. Action with serpentine fences and bar sidelocks each signed “WILLIAMS & POWELL”. With fine classic English border and scroll engraving throughout, action and locks with traces of original faded casehardened finish, the locks each engraved with a panel scene involving game birds in flight. Blued trigger guard engraved with two pointers. Well-figured walnut stock with checkered grip and forearm. London black powder proof and black powder reproof marks. In oak lined brass cornered leather case, the lid with large Williams & Powell printed trade label, the exterior of the lid with circular brass plaque engraved “G.T.R.
