Description:
The serial number for this shotgun falls into the serial number range of South Vietnamese contract Model 37 riot shotguns (50,000-71,999). However, this shotgun was apparently not delivered to South Vietnam since Ithaca marked the front receiver ledge and barrel with a different serial number (S9254), a serial number that falls into the serial number range of a 1963 U.S. government contract for 22,000 Model 37 riot shotguns (serial number S1,000-S23,000). 2 3/4" chamber, choked full, canvas sling.
