Manufactured 1869, subsequently custom engraved. Receiver decorated with full coverage floral scrollwork on a punch dot background with dog chasing a rabbit amongst the scrolls along with several relief engraved game scenes depicting elk, squirrel, bird, hunter, dog, and stag. Right side of receiver features Diana, the goddess of the hunt. Forend cap and buttplate are also scroll engraved. Brass components appear to have been silver plated. Dovetail blade front sight, ladder rear sight graduated to 900 yards, and sling swivels mounted on underside of forend cap and stock.
