Manufactured 1903. Included copy of a factory letter lists this revolver with a 4 3/4" barrel in .45 caliber, blue finish and type of stocks not listed when shipped to Simmons Hardware Co., St. Louis on Sept. 12, 1903. Relief carved steer head on right grip panel. With leather holster rig featuring initials "GLM" on holster and "101" on the belt. Consignor attributes the gun and holster rig to George Miller of the 101 Ranch Wild West Show. As noted by the consignor the holster rig and Bisley were purchased in Nashville, TN at the Bob Pope gun show a few years ago and the then buyer was told by the seller that the items were purchased at the final sale out auction of the 101 Ranch.
