Includes a May 13, 1929 dated letter addressed to Major Sam Mckone of Lawrence, Kansas from famous Colt Employee John Henry Fitzgerald of Hartford, Connecticut in which he states, "They tell me at the factory that you were badly in need of a 38 Super Colt so I told them to take my No. 30 and send it along to you."
