OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
Optics clear. The gun is unmarked besides the included false muzzle marked "L.N. WALKER". Louis N. Walker became an employee of E. Remington & Sons where he ran the Custom Gun Shop and built many of the fancy Remington target rifles from 1870 until his death March 1, 1918. He likely worked for Hilliard prior to 1870. Light engraving on frame and buttplate.
