Description:

38" OAL, with a 28" blade showing a slightly wavy hamon, a nickel plated habaki, and shin-gunto pattern furniture accented with a small pawlonia-themed mon badge. A brown/orange tassel (partially detached but included) is installed. The grip could not be dismounted. A consignor-supplied statement/translation attributes the blade to a Katsumitsu of Bizen Province, in the 2nd year of Tensho (approximately 1574 CE). Blade is good with mild spotting. Furniture is fair.
