Manufactured 1885. The included factory letter lists the revolver in .44-40 caliber with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, blue finish, and rubber grips when shipped to William Read & Sons in Boston on 6 April 1885. Also included is a copy of a John Kopec letter assessing the revolver.
