Signed tang with single mekugi-ana, 2 engraved and 3 painted symbols on the right,7 engraved symbols and a faint "showa" stamp on the left. Blade fair with mild spotting, fittings rough. 2) Shin gunto sword, 35 1/2" OAL, 24 1/2" blade, straight hamon, leather wrapped saya. Unsigned tang, with one mekugi-ana. Some pitting on the otherwise bright blade, which shows signs of polishing/reshaping, fittings fair.
