Factory letter lists rifle with an octagon barrel in .44 caliber, set trigger (set screw broken off), Beach combination front sight, and 7-leaf express rear sight. The rifle was received in the warehouse on June 30, 1908 and shipped to "New York Department" on July 11, 1908. Rarely is a destination listed in the Winchester factory records. Rear sight leaf has been repaired and reblued.
