Manufactured 1891, "9" in caliber marking is stamped over the original "7". Includes a paper pouch labelled as containing sights (unopened). The included factory letter lists the rifle in .45-70 caliber with a 30 inch #3 octagon barrel and plain trigger when shipped on 7 October 1891.
