Description:

1) Colt Advertising Wall Clock by Gilbert Clock Co.This antique clock is considered to be a long drop regulator that bears a Gilbert paper label on the back. The oak case has a beaded edge trim surrounding the entire case and has a 12 inch metal dial with the inscription "REVOLVERS AUTOMATIC PISTOLS MACHINE GUNS/COLT.HARTFORD CONN./EST. 1836/COLT'S PATENT FIREARMS M'F'G CO.". This late 19th C. clock is in good working condition, 8-day time only, with original key and pendulum. The glass door has stenciled in gold "REGULATOR".32 x 18 x 8 inches. Very good overall with some light handling marks. Clock face is very good with some small age spots. Mechanically untested. 2) Framed Samuel Colt Pistols Etched/Painted Mirror. The mirrored surface is mostly bordered with what appears to be black enamel while most of the text and imagery is etched and bordered with black enamel. The primary text reads "COL. SAMUEL COLT./PATENT REPEATING/PISTOLS" while the bottom lists a London address for a showroom and a image of what appears to be a Model 1851 Navy revolver is at the center. It measures approximately 27 x 33 inches including the frame. Very fine overall, the mirror itself showing very little wear and some mild edge wear on the frame.
