This is a very desirable late production Swedish model CG-63 Bolt Action Match-Target rifle. These were originally Swedish model 1938 rifles that were converted by the NORMA factory into CG-63 target rifle for the international rifle matches, firing the excellent 6.5X55mm cartridge. Receiver marked, Crown/C over CARL GUSTAFS/1917. Receiver side wall marked Crown/C inspection proof and armorers mark of "HK". Fitted with the SODERIN micrometer target rear sight and Anschutz type Globe front sight with a circular aperture insert. Has a rare factory made riser forend block that extends from the triggerguard to tip of the stock with hand-stop rail. The side of the riser has the three Crowns over the Wreath. Fitted with its original matching numbered bolt.

Desirable late production BSA Monarch model bolt action rifle that has been refitted with a new stainless steel, light target weight type barrel in the desirable 6.5X55mm Swedish cartridge. The barrel has a heavy varmint type contour and the muzzle measures aproximatley .700. This would make an excellent hunting or light target rifle, as this is a very accurate cartridge for either. The barrel is stamped "B.R. DOW" (probably the smith that installed the barrel) and the side of the receiver is stamped with the BSA Three-Crossed Rifles Trade/Mark with a BNP proof. It has its original English walnut type sporting stock with rose-wood grip cap and BSA marked rubber recoil pad. Fitted with a Weaver K10 scope with adjustable objective and standard cross-hair reticule, clear sharp optics. This rifle is complete with 50 each new Remington Peters 6.5X55mm cases, a new set of RCBS 6.5X55mm reloading dies and a partial box (35 total) of BARNES 100gr bullets.
