Description:

"1849" dated lock. "AAL" initials carved in left of buttstock. According to consignor notes, this musket was purchased from the Lucas estate of Lancaster, South Carolina, and according to oral family history it was used by Andrew Lucas, who may have been a Private in Company K of the 17th South Carolina Infantry.
