Description:

Manufactured in 1866 and subsequently custom engraved with floral scroll covering nearly all of the First Model "flatside" receiver. The left side of the lower tang is marked with the assembly number "1845" and the serial number "14757", with the serial number repeated in the stock inlet. The buttplate features matching engraving. Sling swivels are installed on the barrel band and bottom of the stock.
