1) Shin gunto sword, 36" OAL, 24 3/4" blade, wavy hamon, blue/brown cord. Unsigned tang, with two mekugi-ana and paint markings on the right side. Blade shows mild spotting/wear, good overall. 2) Signed Japanese sword, 36 3/4" OAL, 25 1/2" blade, straight hamon, partial shin gunto fittings. One mekugi-ana, with a four-figure signature on the left side of the tang. Fair, with some spotting and nicking of the blade, splitting saya, and mild handling marks and stains overall.
