Manufactured 1883, "D.F.C" and "G" inspection marks, barrel shortened to current length and front sight reattached, four "kill" notches in bottom left of grip. The included factory letter confirms the caliber and finish, as well as delivery to the government inspector at the Colt plant on 3 August 1883.
