Description:

According to the included factory letter this revolver was shipped on January 20, 1903 to the U. S. Navy at the Brooklyn Navy Yard as one of a total of 1,000 bought by the Navy. Navy serial number on butt reads "1501". Factory return date "6.17" (June, 1917) on the left of the grip strap. Provenance: The Mel Raucher Collection
