The Mini variation of the Uzi was first introduced in 1980. Well known for its appearance in various Hollywood movies, the Uzi was one of the most famous submachine guns in the early 1960s-1980s. Standard markings and features with a bayonet lug mounted at the lower front of the receiver, "A", "R", and "S" marked selector, and folding steel buttstock. Includes a rare Samsonite brand "Secret Service" hard case with foam inserts for holding the gun and the three total included magazines. This type of case was made for the Uzi by Action Arms in the 1980s and advertised in the Law Enforcement brochures, and became popular with the U.S. Secret Service. The case features magnets inside the foam insert for the Uzi to keep it in place. In the famous photograph of the Ronald Reagan assassination attempt, one of these cases (configured for a full size Uzi) can be seen opened up laying on the street with a Secret Service agent holding an Uzi.
