Description:

"HP" hand inscribed on the patchbox. "C/55" and "US" marked on the buttplate. The barrel is stamped "LDS" on the upper left at the breech circled in paint pen. It has been attributed by the consignor as a Latter-Days Saints (Mormon) rifle.
