Description:

Both the sword and the bayonet come with a leather scabbard, which in turn fits into a combination brown leather belt hanger. 1) The sword measures 30" OAL, with a 24 1/2" single fuller blade marked with a crown on the right side. The brass hilt has a heart shaped guard marked "5/30" and "M=CUMBERLAND", and a spiral-ribbed grip. Fair, with some pitting and chipping. 2) Bayonet for a "brown bess" musket, 21" OAL, with a 16" trefoil blade faintly marked "OSBORN/& GUNBY" and a 4" socket with an internal diameter just shy of an inch. Fair.
