1) Signed shin-gunto sword, 36 1/2" OAL, 25 1/4" blade with wavy hamon, blue/brown tassel, chain belt hanger. Signed, one painted symbol on the right side, four engraved on the left, one mekugi-ana. Some heavy corrosion on blade at the top of the habaki, mild spotting and staining, otherwise good. 2) Signed shin-gunto sword, 36 3/4" OAL, 25 3/4" blade with wavy hamon, blue/brown tassel, long chain belt hanger. Tang signed, faint paint markings on right, thirteen carved figures on left, one mekugi-ana (going through 2nd figure on left). Blade polished, fittings rough, otherwise good.
