Description:

Manufactured c. mid-1800s by John Moreton & Co. of Sheffield, England. 16 3/4" OAL, 11 5/8" drop point blade with maker's mark on the left ricasso and butterfly trademark on the right, floral motif German silver guard and decorative pommel, and smooth dark horn grip scales. Includes a blackened leather sheath with German silver fittings. Fine, the blade mostly a bright grey patina with some scattered light pitting and clear markings, bright German silver, and some scattered light handling marks on the grip scales. Sheath is good with added black finish and mild wear.
