Manufactured c. 1850s-1860s, 13 1/2" OAL, 9" clip point blade with maker's marks on the left along with an American eagle, hunter's companion marking, and I-XL trademark, German silver oval guard with smooth pearl grip scales. Very good, the blade mostly bright with some scattered patches of light pitting, crisp markings, and minimal wear/handling evidence on the grip.
