A) Very Scarce Smith Patent "Model 1860" Rifle

Description:

Manufactured c. 1860-1861. Smith breech loaders aside from the standard Civil War carbines are very rare. See "Early Firearms of Gilbert Smith, Part 1" by Ralph Spears in the American Society of Arms Collectors bulletin 124 and serial number 36 from our November 2012 auction.
