1) Painting showing a chukar, mallard, pheasant, and a roe deer all on display after what was clearly very good day afield. Signed in the lower left "G Falchetti" for Italian painter Giuseppe Falchetti. Frame measured 25" x 37 1/2". 2) This painting depicts a man fighting for his life with a knife while treed by a bear, clearly having a less good day than the above gentleman. Signed Matt/Globe '61" in the bottom right. Frame measures 27 1/2" x 33 1/2". The first is very good with some cracking in the paint, nice color, and light wear to the frame. The second is very fine with minor display wear.
