Description:

Around 300 Greene carbines were manufactured c. 1855-1857. Most were shorter barreled carbines in .54 caliber. This rifle has a 30 inch barrel in .45 caliber, an extremely rare variant. It also lacks many of the usual markings. A disassembled British contract lock is also included.
