OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

Description:

Approximately 5,800 manufactured under U.S. contract in 1865, none of these revolvers were apparently issued and were subsequently sold as surplus through Francis Bannerman in New York. Boxed script "RPB" inspection cartouche stamped on the left grip panel.
