This powder flask has an angled spout and features crossed revolvers, stars, spread wing American eagles, and martial designs on both sides of the body. While it is not marked, this pattern is shown on page 202 of "The Powder Flask Book" by Ray Riling and identified as No. 590 from the American Flask & Cap Company catalog. It is similar to the Colt Model 1851 Navy flask but actually has better detail. It would certainly look excellent in cases with Colt Navy or Army revolvers, Remington revolvers, or others. Condition is very fine showing the vast majority of the original finish, attractive aged patina on the brass, a refinished screw and spring, and generally only minor wear.
