1) U.S. LF&C 1913 cavalry sword, 42" OAL, 35" blade dated 1918, iron guard, checkered grip, canvas-wrapped scabbard. Fair, with some cleaning/spotting. 2) U.S. Ames 1906 cavalry sword, 38" OAL, 31 3/4" blade with the date struck out, iron guard, sharkskin grip, checkered pommel, leather scabbard. Fair, with a repaired bend in the blade. 3) Henderson Ames 1902 officer's sword, 35 1/2" OAL, 30 1/2" etched name with a pitted-over name on the right side, nickel guard, wood grip, gold wire sword knot, nickel scabbard. Fair. 4) German-made USN sword, 37 1/2" OAL, 32" etched blade marked "C. Burbridge Hill", brass hilt, faux rayskin grip, gold wire sword knot, leather scabbard. Good. Hill has not been identified.
