Description:

Manufactured in France, the rear of the movement bears the unidentified maker's mark of a swallow carrying an "MB" as well as "Mre D'HORLOGERIE DE BETHUNE/MADE IN FRANCE". The dial is also marked as made in France. The housing of the clock sits atop a rose colored marble plinth. The housing itself is of elaborately case brass with a statue of a Greek horseman taming a horse to one side. It shows an attractively aged patina overall and some moderate staining on the dial. The movement is untested.
