35 1/2 inches overall, with a white horn tip, 3/4 inch diameter wood shaft, and a 5 inch long hooked silver head terminating in a "screaming eagle" sculpted motif with glass eyes. The head is marked "ALPACCA" along with the hallmark for Gottlieb Kurz; Alpacca or Alpaca is a mark associated with nickel silver/German silver. Good, with some scuffs and crazing in the shaft finish, a few creases in the silver, and a mixed patina.
