Frame manufactured c. 1881-1891. The rifle was custom built as an offhand target rifle with a Green Mountain barrel fitted by Russ Gent chambered for a 2 inch .38-55 with a 1 degree throat, globe front sight, Unertl scope, Lyman peep sight, double set triggers, and a massive Schuetzen buttstock with a Swiss buttplate.
