The blade is etched with an Eickhorn marking on the outer ricasso and has a Solingen marking on the inner. 38" OAL, 32" flamberge style blade with etched floral band on either side running the length. The ornate hilt is gilt with martial motifs throughout, including on the grip, and a clamshell guard. Includes a leather wrapped scabbard with matching ornate gilt fittings. Fine, blade showing aged patina and some patches of light oxidation near the tip, retaining most of the gilt finish on the hilt with light wear. The scabbard is fine with mild wear.
