Two 19th Century Cylinder Reservoir Tip-Up Barrel Gallery Air Guns

A) Underlever Air Gun

The trigger guard that can be pulled downwards, serving as the cocking lever in order to fill the cylinder air reservoir. Belgian "E/LG" oval proof and a "crown/S" marked on the left flat of the barrel at the breech. No maker markings visible. Circular brass collection tag marked "R.D. BEEMAN/PRIVATE/COLLECTION/737" hanging from the trigger guard lever. Provenance: The Dr. Robert D. Beeman Collection
