Cased New York Engraved Colt New Line .22 Caliber Revolver with Factory Letter

With factory letter stating a ship date of August 17, 1876, to Spies, Kissam & Company of New York, New York, with 182 guns in the shipment in .22 rimfire with 2 1/4" barrels and varnished rosewood grips. It was subsequently "New York engraved" and fitted with upgraded grips. With case and antique ammunition.

ConditionVery good overall as New York engraved and refinished with much of the nickel finish, moderate flaking on the cylinder, and a hairline crack and few light handling marks on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Case is fine.
