Manufactured 1868 as a second model with the serial number stamped on the left side of the lower tang, a single screw upper tang, and a flare at the front of the receiver to meet the forearm. Desirable, early production two-line Henry's and King's patent marking. Front sight repaired, "RP" carved on left of wrist.
Good overall with mostly an aged patina, scattered minor dings, scattered light pitting, and the wood having a few chips absent from edges and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
