One of 1,000 Model 1909 revolvers manufactured for the U.S. Navy, with less surviving today. Butt number: 309. Consignor indicated that the Perspex grips were shipboard handcrafted from a WWII aircraft canopy. With extra wood grips.
Very good overall with some brown and gray patina, mild spotting and scattered handling marks and edge wear. Cylinder arm has some play when closed but otherwise mechanically fine.
