Description:

Both the tunic and pants are herringbone twill construction with "spring" and "autumn" pattern camouflage printing, and both are constructed to be reversible. The tunic has brass snap closures, with a set of breast pockets attached to the "autumn" side, but accessible from both sides via a pair of "slash" flaps. Similar pocket construction is used for the front and back hip pockets on the pants, which are fitted with double-sided belt loops, snap closure fly, and non-adjustable cuffs. No individual markings or maker's tags present. Included is a tan canvas web belt which is fitted with a "BOYT/42" leather pistol holster, alloy canteen in 1942 dated Shane Manufacturing pouch, metal-bodied first aid kit in a 1942 dated pouch, suspenders, and two 1911/1911A1 magazines in an "Avery/1942" pouch. Provenance: The Putnam Green/Sycamore Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good, with mild wear and a few small holes. A larger hole is forming in the left breast pocket of the tunic. The web gear and accessories are in good order.
