A) Sharps & Hankins Model 1862 Navy Carbine

Manufactured c. 1862-1865, traces of leather barrel sleeve remain, upper tang screw absent.

ConditionFair overall with light pitting and oxidation scattered throughout and some minor cracks/chips in the wood. Mechanically fine.

Manufactured 1863-1865, "A.J.N." inspection mark on barrel, two cartouches on wrist, "2" stamped on left of stock.

ConditionGood overall with traces of the original finish, some scattered patches of light pitting, and some minor chipping and dings in the wood. Mechanically excellent.
