A) Remington-Beals Navy Percussion Revolver

Description:

Manufactured c. 1861-1862. Comes in a shared custom oak case with "B." The case has "GB" inscribed on the lid escutcheon and a "G. BOOTHROYD" metal label inside. Geoffrey Boothroyd (1925-2001) was a British firearms expert and author who advised Ian Flemming for the James Bond series and was the inspiration for the character "Q" aka "Major Boothroyd."

Rating Definition:

Fine with gray and brown patina, mild oxidation, and moderate wear. Mechanically fine. The case is good with some storage wear.
