Manufactured by John Stemple of Ohio, the 76/45 was made in emulation of the Smith & Wesson Model 76 submachine gun, itself an emulation of the M45 "Swedish K", though configured to chamber 45 ACP from M3/M3A1 magazines. This example is equipped with a silencer in lieu of the traditional shroud (see Item B for more details), with the barrel ported to match. Features fixed winged post front and a windage adjustable peep rear sight mounted on a section of Weaver rail, and Stemple markings on the right side of the magazine well. An AR-15 style pistol grip and a telescoping wire buttstock are installed.

Excellent overall, original finish, with mild wear, handling marks, and a few areas of bubbled or flaking finish. Mechanically excellent. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.

Steel construction, about 13 1/2 inches in overall length, with an expansion chamber (with unidentified metallic filler) around the ported barrel and a baffle stack in the remainder of the space. attaches to the receiver in lieu of the standard barrel and heat shield assembly, with an integral barrel of about 8 inches.
