Smith & Wesson .22/32 Kit Gun Pre-War Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter

The included factory letter confirms the current barrel length, caliber, front sight, and finish when it was shipped to Ed Watson, Rochester, NY, on May 29, 1936. S&W historian Roy Jinks added a note to the letter stating "Ed Watson was a gunsmith who worked for The Gun Shop on State St., Downtown Rochester, NY. Mr. Watson became the owner of this establishment and sold me a lot of early S&W's back in the 1950s".

ConditionExcellent, original finish with light handling evidence and a minor drag line. Mechanically excellent.
