Description:

Approximately 1,000 of these two shot rifle-muskets were manufactured by J.P. Lindsay of New York between 1863-1864. Lindsay patent markings on top of the breech, and two oval script inspection cartouches stamped on the left stock flat.

Rating Definition:

Good with scattered pitting, freckling and gray and brown patina. Stock is very good with dents, scratches, and a large crack on the right of the wrist area. Mechanically fine.
