A reported 1,002 Ball carbines were manufactured on contract starting in 1864 and delivered after the end of the Civil War. Cartouche on left of wrist. Includes a reproduction Ball's patent firearms manual.

ConditionGood, with some original finish, smooth brown and gray patina, spotting, freckling and oxidation. Wood is very good with some dents, chips, scratches, and defined edges. Mechanically excellent.
