Approximately 5,300 m/41 sniper rifles were arsenal converted from standard Model 1896 infantry rifles for use in Swedish military service during World War II, with nearly all of them subsequently updated to the m/41B configuration; with this example configured as an m/41. AGA m/42 3x65 scope numbered "681" on the dial and "5737" on the front of the base, and the rifle mounting rail correctly without stop screw is numbered "163". The bright bolt assembly, rear sight and small parts are matching numbered to the rifle. "1908" dated receiver, Fitted with a brown leather sling and leather scope lens caps (separated/torn string).

Fine as arsenal refinished and converted to sniper configuration, with some patches of surface corrosion and light edge wear. Arsenal refinished stock is very fine with some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Absent locking screws on the scope mounting rail. Scope is good with clear optics.
