Description:

The contents of the lot are attributed by the consignor to a Second Lieutenant George William Powell, who is described in an included rating certificate booklet as a reserve military aviator in the Aviation Section of the Signal Officer's Reserve Corps in April 1919. The grouping includes a pair of alloy dog tags, a small brass "US" lapel pin, three 1st Lieutenant bars, three "U.S." pins, three "propeller with wings" pins, and a set of silver aviator's wings on a black felt background.
