Manufactured in 1892. Beaded blade front and replacement non-standard fixed notch rear sights, sleeved Second Model 24" barrel with second style inscription, "22 LONG" caliber marking on top flat at the breech, and casehardened First Model solid frame receiver. Factory letter states rifle was received in the warehouse on May 31, 1892 and shipped on July 18 in .22 Long caliber.

Very fine as professionally restored, slightly lightened markings and some small handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with a few scattered scratches and nearly all of the case colors on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
