The New Model No. 3 was sold from 1878 to 1912, but all of the frames are reported to have been manufactured before the end of 1898 making them antique. Features 7 inch barrel (6 1/2 inch standard length) and trigger guard spur. Cylinder numbered to a different gun (9140). Matching serial numbers on butt, barrel, and barrel latch.

Very good overall with original finish in the protected areas, smooth dark patina on balance, few scratches on cylinder, hairline crack and surface chip on left grip panel, softened grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
