The bore measures approximately 61 3/4 inches from the muzzle to the breech face and replicates a 3-pounder Whitworth of the type used during the American Civil War. The bore has traditional rather than polygonal rifling. The originals were considered as effective at over 9,000 yards.

Rating Definition:

Very good with most of the finish, some flaking, and fairly minor wear. Overall, a very impressive reproduction of a legendary Civil War era artillery piece.
